Welcome to the Augustine Centre

The Augustine Centre combined with St David’s Uniting Church in Canterbury in 2009 to form Habitat Uniting Church. All Sunday Services are held at St David’s Centre. The Augustine Centre is the base for OASES and home to a variety of social justice groups. It is the venue for contemplation and meditation groups.

Presented by Erica Downard. Without glorifying war, Erica will explore her father's military service, his health, his character and his role as as father to expose the possible ffects on him of having once been a father. An open forum will take place afterwards where those present will be encouraged to speak of their own fathers and the influences on them.

The evening is presented by Jarek Czechowicz (pron: Yarrek Che’hovich) a maestro of words and music for awakening. Jarek will take you on a truly divine journey accompanied by some very fine musicians.
